"I requested a bid for home insurance for my home in Florida. I had full confidence because of the company and thier nationwide coverage. I had recently replaced my roof and obtained a wind mitigation report from a qualified inspector. Unfortunatedly since I bought in early 2022 when it was a sellers market, my home is currently valued at $200,000 below what I paid for it. State Farm is insisting that I insure it for the purchase price when my mortgage balance is way below the market value because of a large cash amount I paid when I puchased it. State Farm is asking 3 times the premium of other home insurances. Not happy and totally disappointed. Please check other insurance options."

"Have been w/ Rich Matthews and State Farm for a number of years. Recently filed a Subrogation claim against my a/c company after being informed they had certain exclusions on their policy that would significantly reduce their payout for damages to my house. The Rich Matthews agency and State Farm were no help when I reached out for assistance. Its sad that the at fault parties Insurance company is actually being more helpful than my own. I pay thousands in premiums every year for home and multiple auto and life policies. You would think that would get you at least the bare minimum of customer service, but instead im back where I started, handling this on my own and paying for repairs out of my own pocket. Rich Matthews agency and State Farm are great @ taking your money, just dont expect to get anything in return."
